A fan made video for Young Man’s track “Home Alone”. The abandoned building is a great setting for this song. It also doesn’t hurt that the cinematography is beautiful. I love that little worm in the beginning.

This here is the official video for Deerhunter’s second single, “Helicopters” from their upcoming album, Halcyon Digest (out September 28). “Revival” and “Helicopters” are the best singles I’ve heard this year. I mean it’s just as good as Teen Dream sounds. I can’t fucking wait for this record as it’s probably going to be one of the best of the year.

Grass Widow - Shadow

A lovely watercolor animation in black and white to match a minimal, grungy, and kinda quiet homage to riotgrrl tunes and simpler times. Pre-order the San Fran band’s upcoming LP, Past Time out soon on Kill Rock Stars

A video by Ian Berenger with music by Max Alper (track: “couldhavekilledbee”). Beautiful visuals and a hypnotic soundtrack to lull you to sleep tonight. I kind of wish this could go on for about twenty minutes or even an hour for those times I just want to zone out.

I think I’ll make a post of my favorite zone out music or albums to fall asleep to. Not that that’s a bad thing at all. It’s hard to come by a good lullaby. Goodnight everyone.

Just saw this new video for The Whitest Boy Alive’s song “Golden Cage” which was drawn by Geoff McFedridge. I’m never sure if I like Geoff’s work. I always end up seeing something awesome every couple weeks but it can look a little amateurish at times. Anyway, I don’t mean to insult because he pulled it off well this time. The animations look clean and work well with the song, which is really catchy. And if your wondering why that voice sounds familiar it’s because it’s the guy from Kings of Convenience. I’d tell you his name but it’s foreign and kinda tricky.
