A video by Ian Berenger with music by Max Alper (track: “couldhavekilledbee”). Beautiful visuals and a hypnotic soundtrack to lull you to sleep tonight. I kind of wish this could go on for about twenty minutes or even an hour for those times I just want to zone out.

I think I’ll make a post of my favorite zone out music or albums to fall asleep to. Not that that’s a bad thing at all. It’s hard to come by a good lullaby. Goodnight everyone.

Staying up looking for new music really does have its benefits, especially when you come across something as great as Neon Canyons. Made up of Mark Weber and John Sherman the duo create downtempo ambient tracks that brim both with a darkness and an inviting aire. Their chilled out beats evoke something like wandering into the woods in your backyard (assume you have woods in your backyard) and seeing some kind of beautiful ghost, and you aren’t terrified as much as you are in awe.

If you like what you hear in the video above than definitely download the EP here. Also their Myspace says that they’re recording their full length debut. So be on the lookout for that!
